Can you set up notifications that are auto sent after the candidate commences e.g. could i set up an email reminder for probation discussions to go the manager at 1 month, 3 months and 6 months after the candidate commences?

Hi Becky, what you want to do is add an automation to a pack. Automations can be set up to send out emails after a certain number of days. 

You will need to select the Pack Template you want to use, and then the Automations tab.


Add members, and then click to add an automation. Click New Automation (or edit an existing one).



You can then set up the automation as desired, specifying the number of days to send after (or before) an event. 

Then you write your message in the provided editor, and save.

Hi Ray, thank you for this. I'm just wondering if this will be set up so it only goes to the hiring manager for that pack? i feel like the members you add will get the automation every time?

Hi Becky, no worries. 

You can modify automation groups on a per pack basis. So set up the automation with the email template as above, but don't add any members to that group just yet (or add a default email just in case).

Then, when you create a new pack (or view an existing one), go to the automations tab and assign a member to that group. 



Then when the automation is triggered, it will be sent to whoever is a member for that particular pack. You can even modify this while the email is still pending (just in case the Hiring Manager needs changing).
